In 1980, I spent a couple weeks in the studio with Stiv Bators and his band as they recorded the album DISCONNECTED, which was released in December of that year. Every night, I shot rolls and rolls of film as they recorded, as they played basketball (they recorded on the court too), as they engaged in all manner of tomfoolery, and most important, we shot what Stiv envisioned he wanted as an album cover.
Volume 1 contains over 40 photos depicting all of this - portraits, album cover ideas, candids, and some in-concert photos from the shows they did prior to recording - to test drive some new songs.
I say Volume 1 because there will be more!
This is a limited edition.
Books will be sent directly from the publisher (because my apartment is undergoing restoration since the fire in April and I have no space to keep the inventory and prepare its packing). If you would like a signed bookplate/postcard, please just indicate that in your order and I will send you one.
