You may have heard there was a fire at my apartment complex. There was! My apartment, pets, and my archive is safe BUT the power and water was off and we were displaced until the Fire Marshal inspected the restoration work. After 8 days away from my home work station (I use a 32" monitor to work on pictures - I can't tote it around like I do my laptop), I am back, and now, just as I am catching up, I have to get out again for a couple days so the place can be painted (which means PACKING UP everything that could be in the way of painting crews... it's like staging a move), so the lost billable hours I was beginning to make up are going to be lost again.

This 1980 image of Stiv Bators performing at the Whisky A GoGo was in a storage unit I had in Tribeca. It survived Hurricane Sandy and as an image, it represents the survival and the Phoenix. I think it is as cool as it's scar left by water that embedded itself between the slide and its plastic page protector.
